Is there a M/A fic in which things go according to basic canon (ie. Arthur and Merlin are just bffs, Arthur marries his love, Gwen, everyone is happy until they're not, lalala Mordred kills him) and then we cut to modern day where bornagain!Arthur finds bornagain!Merlin (born again because there is just something wholly depressing about immortal!Merlin, yeah?) and they remember their past lives but they fall in love with each other this time because it's them and they've always loved each other but this time around companionship blossoms into something more than being just friends?

Does that exist? Because I want it.
