Is there a M/A fic in which things go according to basic canon (ie. Arthur and Merlin are just bffs, Arthur marries his love, Gwen, everyone is happy until they're not, lalala Mordred kills him) and then we cut to modern day where bornagain!Arthur finds bornagain!Merlin (born again because there is just something wholly depressing about immortal!Merlin, yeah?) and they remember their past lives but they fall in love with each other this time because it's them and they've always loved each other but this time around companionship blossoms into something more than being just friends?

Does that exist? Because I want it.

I re-read that the other day ♥ But yeah, looking for the idea that a sexual relationship didn't even occur to them back then, or it was so repressed the didn't acknowledge it. There's something about the notion of 'oh, hey, why didn't we do this before?' that is appealing to my brain right now XD

I sort of wrote an opening paragraph to it in my head, but that's all I'm ever likely to do because
1) I'm lazy
2) This deserves to be written by someone with talent and;
3) I may be writing an embarrassing B/C fic right now. MAYBE. I have an outline. But you will hate it because I'm not kidding about embarrassment.

And I thought of that because it takes them 30 days to get sex right, something has to put their attempts on hold for a few days and nothing says 'sex probably isn't a good idea tonight' like farting on your boyfriends fingers. Am I right?

Besides, I don't even know if I'm writing it. The other person I told had much the same (understandable) reaction :P

WELL, there is totally a reason for that because any other day Bradley would laugh being that he has absolutely no shame BUT for one, he's about to have anal sex for the first time, which is scary enough on its own but couple that with the fact that this is about the 13th day they've been trying, so they're both getting a bit frustrated, and TWO, Colin had an unfortunate, messy experience with an ex boyfriend (you don't want to go there, trust me on this one, okay?) and they broke up, and Bradley sort of fears Colin will break up with him for this, silly lamb that he is. Adequate?
