I've had a lot to say about these films over the past ten years and of course they don't come close to comparing to the books, but I'm not gonna lie, I almost cried watching this.
The beginning is what set me off, when Harry squeezes his eyes shut as he prepares to die? EPIC.
I'm still trying to decide if I'll reread the series. On the one hand, it'll refresh me and get me pumped up. On the other, I've always looked at the books and films as separate from each other, I like going in with only a vague remembrance of what's going to happen, otherwise I can spend the entire film going 'okay, this happens and now this and then they do this' and it takes away the experience.
