In rediscovering my love for Jake and Amir's version, I'm pretty sure my new greatest (non-filthy) wish is to see Colin and Bradley do a lipdub to Flight of the Conchords' Hiphopopotamus Vs. I'm glad Stewart showed them up for the moronic assholes they are, but I can't even believe the topic was broadcast to begin with. I mean, really, Fox News? Really?

You know what I love about the Merlin fandom? How there's very little name joining when people talk about couples. I know it exists, Merthur for example, but there's very little of it. I like that in a fandom.

OH, iCarly this weekend! I have been looking forward to the blooper episode for freaking months, if only to see just how hilarious Jerry Trainor is when he mucks up or improvs a line.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, speaking of nothing to do with food, the other day I made a caramelised onion and brie quiche that was to die for. In a last minute stroke of genius, I added some fresh rosemary (because my rosemary bush never gets enough love) and it was so fabulous, I'm not even going to try and be modest. It was awesome, that's all there is to it.

And then tonight my mum made roast pumpkin and philly "salad" (not so much a salad really, as an accompaniment, but whatevs), which was so, so good. Basically roasted pumpkin with cashews, prosciutto and cubes of Philadelphia cheese covered in a light balsamic dressing, YUM.

How did you stumble into slash? I can't remember, which I am very disappointed about, but if I took an educated guess, it was probably through Harry Potter.

Your first fandom and pairing? This I also can't remember. If I took another educated guess it would probably be Harry/Draco, but I have very early memories of Ben Affleck/Matt Damon, Colin Mochrie/Ryan Stiles (for shiz!) and Paul McDermott/Gatesy from Tripod (because of this one awesome fic I read).

Your favourite genre/tropes? I am a sucker for the angst that comes with realising you like the same sex, so sexuallyconfused!boys always does it for me. I am also a big fangirl of hate!sex that eventually turns into TRUE LOVE.

And your least favourite? I don't like mpreg or incest. And I really dislike reading about sappy, "girly" guys.

The first person you told about your new hobby? I can remember discussing Affleck/Damon with a not-that-close friend in high school, so I can't remember who I would have told first, but I can't imagine I was shy about it.

Are you open about liking slash now? I don't generally bring it up in everyday conversation, but I wouldn't be afraid to talk about it and have done so before when the opportunity arose.

Jake and Amir only write and act in the best webshow in the universe! Clicky (http://www.jakeandamir.com/). They're pretty much two guys who work at the CollegeHumor website. Jake is a regular dude. Amir is...special. Some would argue he's just a pathetic loser, some would argue he's mentally and socially challenged. Unfortunately for Jake, Amir thinks they're best friends. WACKINESS ENSUES. I don't think the last six months' episodes have been that good, but if you go further back, there are fucking comedy GEMS.
