kylezySo, did I miss anything vital? Aside from the really important stuff my lovely friends kept me up to date with, of course, like that assassin fic on the kink meme (it's going to break my heart so hard, I just know it). And High School Merlin (finally!) posting. And Colin looking scrumptious in many different forms (all pics from fyeahcolinmorgan).
And, of course, Bradley's new Twitter. If you've been on my flist for a long time, you might remember me expressing the belief that a twitter run by Bradley James would possibly be the most fascinating containment of 140-character nuggets of wisdom the world has ever known.
I wasn't wrong.
Idea: Conquistadors!Merlin & Arthur falling in love but woe! because 1) they're Catholic and 2) they're currently invading Mexico under the leadership of Cortés. And maybe 3) because naturally Merlin is against the whole conquest thing, on moral grounds and idk, maybe his magic is connected to the land in the superstitions and beliefs of the Aztecs and Arthur is Arthur and is all MUST GET TREASURE TO PLEASE FATHER because if fanfic has taught us anything, it's that DADDY ISSUES TRANSCEND ALL RACES AND RELIGIONS. But anyhoo, jungle sex, you know you want it.
Jenn's additional idea because she is a sexy genius: Merlin's magic fades as the magic recedes from the land, so cue sex magic to restore ~life back to the land~.
I think our brains would make the sweetest, filthiest love.

AWW, BUT HE'S SO ADORABLE. Look, his latest tweet is asking for donations to charity, how can you not love that?
But...but I didn't watch a doco on Mayans or even Incas. It has to be Aztecs, I'm afraid. But they're not trying to kill them, they're trying to get treasure...they only kill when the Aztecs are unfriendly!
UGH WATCH IT, DEFINITELY. I'll admit at first I didn't like it and every so often there's a bit of humour that makes me side-eye, but I haven't laughed so much at a show for so long. Like, seriously l-o-l-ing, not just *smiiiiileohheythatssortofhumourousIguess* but actual AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAS. You can watch it on YouTube if you don't want to download it, that's where I watched it.
