In which I've never been the celebrating kind

Well, it's 11pm and that's me for the night. I've been down the Dog & Parrot with some mates but I'd had enough by 10. These days I'm quite content to watch the fireworks from the comfy confines of my living room, where there is significantly fewer drunken tools hanging about.

~Aspirations~ for next year

The usual suspects:

Lose weight, eat better, exercise more, etc etc.
Figure out what I want to do because I'm 25 and this shit is redinkydonkey.
Go to the doctor and DON'T IGNORE his advice like a twat.

The new ideas:

I want to collaborate with someone on something fannish! A tag team fic or another ficmix or something?
STOP BEFRIENDING LIARS JFC.
Learn a new skill. Any suggestions?
READ MORE!
TAKE MORE PHOTOS.
COOK MORE. TRY NEW THINGS.

And that'll do.

Man, I took Japanese for five years in school and I'll be damned if I can remember any more than how to say my name and my phone number *headdesk* I have actually always wanted to learn German but when it comes to languages, I think I work better with a teacher. I was thinking about learning harmonica or something oddly random like that. IDK.

Learning a new skill sounds awesome. I just don't know what I, personally, would want to do. I've been trying to learn Old English this winter break, but lately I've been kind of...not doing it like I should... (I am so lame.)

I'm sitting around bein' a bum! I have been massively tired lately, so as soon as 2011 comes around I'm passing out. xD

Gah, it's interesting - having studied German as well (and studying it currently), I just like to see the connection between the two languages, and of course Modern English as well. I really do want to learn it, but I'm sooo lazy, and additionally, I'm using only online resources, so it's easy to be lazy. D:

I will learn it, I promise! And even if I don't, you would have to learn it yourself to quiz me. Muahaha.

mm, I spent NYE watching The Importance of Being Earnest and fake punching Dexter. I think I win in lameness. YUS. also- that movie totally made me want to eat cucumber/cream cheese sandwiches, right? and so I ate one..because I'd never eaten one before..and it tasted exactly like bread and cream cheese and cucumber and it was so disappointing. I've had, like 10 sandwiches since then.

OMG DUDE. let me tell you about this other Colin dream I had..it was probs a week ago though, so I think I forgot most of it.
you're going to be my go to person when I have Colin dreams, OK? I hope this is satisfactory. ANYWAY. so I remember I was in bed, and I had Colin sitting on this chair next to me, all tied up. =X I think I was his stalker or something, he didn't know though..he was asleep or knocked out or drugged. =X I just left him there and went to sleep and when I woke up, he was gone. =0?! I was freaking out and my sister told me she'd let him go..but he didn't know I'd held him there? so I walked down the block to this auto shop I guess my dad worked at and he was there..like, working? and I was scared to go up to him, you know, cause of the creeper status shit I'd already done, but he didn't seem weirded out. he was talking to some people, saying he had to leave but he didn't have anywhere to stay once he go to where he was going and I was like, oh! I live there, you can stay with me if you want and he was yea yea thanks dudie and I was all =D and left and that was it? then there was this bit of him on a boat..except it wasn't a boat, it was a really big creamy JIF peanut butter cap (I've been eating a lot of that stuff, I guess =x)..with a little sail. he had a baby with him too, and a chicken..and a burro..which is a donkey, right, but for some reason I feel it's important to say it was a burro. and fuck, he was in love with that burro. he kept talking to it and petting it and telling it it was a good boy and why couldn't the baby and the chicken be more like the burro, huh? and that was the end. =')
