I hope all of you Christmas-y people had a lovely Christmas, I certainly did! This is probably the most relaxed Christmas I've ever had actually, everyone was really chill. I suppose because it doesn't actually feel like Christmastime - this last week we've had nothing but rain and a comfortable temperature, whereas the holiday season here in Australia usually spells three things - humidity, humidity, humidity. Actually, for the first time in forever, we had a proper, hot roast lunch. No one in my family wants to eat hot food in the middle of a hot day, so we generally have cold ham, pork and chicken, but this year we went traditional. It would have been exciting if I had any interest in roasted food, but, except for the potatoes (simmer down, Angela, I know you were worried there for a second), I don't particularly enjoy the old roast dinner. One of my uncles and I split dessert duties, so he made lemon meringue pie and I made a peach trifle and both were divine, so that bit, I enjoyed.

Anyhoo, I ended the day watching Scott Pilgrim, so all was well.

Today I braved the Boxing Day sales and shopped until my feet felt like they were about to drop off and I couldn't stand the fucking crowds any more. Man, why do people insist on being everywhere? GOSH.

All in all, it was a seven happy penises kind of Christmas. I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A TEN.

Aww, I'm glad you had a relaxed one! I'm pretty much the same. The cousins came over and we had ridiculous amounts of food and snacks and dessert...makes me feel a little ill just to think about it in fact.

OH DUDE. I wasn't brave enough to go brave the sales with my parents today. I'm just going to do some online sale-shopping XD

UGH SALES. It wasn't so bad when I got there because I went early, but then it seemed I went in one shop and came out and you could barely walk for all the people. AND THE TRAFFIC, OMG. NEVAH AGAIN.

I like online shoppihng in theory, but I object to shipping costs because I'm a scrooge like that, it just seems like a crock. But the delivered to your door bit in generally worth it, I suppose! And yes, I did buy lots of nice stuff, all clothes actually, which is unusal for me because I'm not really a clothes sort of person. Well, I partake in the wearing of, but the shopping for, I have generally always dragged my heels on. But I'm happy with my purchases XD How about you?

hot Christmases will forever weird me out..not that it's like, freezing here. it was 70 degrees F the other day =s! buttt, it's still weird. I am glad you had a nice time though. nice-time-having is a nice thing to experience.

YOU KNOW I HAD NO POTATOES? oh man, it was so fucking tragic..my mom did this turkey sandwich shit they make in El Salvador, she always does that during Christmas and it was okay, I guess but like, POTATOES. THE NON-POTATONESS WAS SO SAD.

Scott Pilgrim is great. I would want to read the graphic novels or whatever, but I don't know if I'm cool enough for that, you know? kind of like those posts on tumblr where people do the bullets + gifs. I could never pull those off. nope. I am not tumblr bullet + gif posts cool, and I don't think I'm graphic novel cool either..=(
I watched Hot Fuzz yesterday for the first time since I saw it in theatres..that Edgar Wright (I think) dude, he's pretty fucking fantastic.

oh man..like..if I knew that the store I was at was selling pens for 10% more than the store across the street, I still wouldn't walk across the street, because I am that lazy...and what I'm saying is that, Boxer Day/Black Friday = the anti-Angela experience. I HOPE YOU GOT CHEAP STUFF THO.
