kylezyI've been housesitting my aunt's place but I'm home for 2 days. So there's no better time to share my favourite songs of the moment.
B is for Brutus - the Hives
It's taken me quite a while to get into this band. I saw them on TV a few years back at Australia's Big Day Out Festival and I was excited, I heard they were quite good. But I was so disappointed, I really disliked them. But I've recently given them a second chance and got my hands on Tyrannosaurus Hives and I actually enjoyed the album. Some songs are so obnoxious I just have to skip them but this hate is counter-balanced with songs that I can have on repeat for ages.
Ipanema - The Horror The Horror
I think I have more Swedish artists on iTunes than I have Aussie ones.
I'm Leaving You Because I Don't Love You - Jens Lekman
The new album is quite awesome. I still prefer the live version of A Postcard For Nina though.
Normandie - Shout Out Louds
I Summon You - Spoon
I'm also deeply in love with Okkervil River and The Frames but the songs I wanted to post by these two bands are too big and I'm far too lazy to wait for them to upload. Check out their MySpaces.
In other news, the Heroes season 2 premiere was wicked. Oh, how I've missed you Heroes! And The Office starts on Thursday right? WHEEEE!
