I genuinely alternate between messy cursive and reasonably neat printing, sometimes in the same sentence. My teachers used to say my writing had a multiple personality disorder.

I used to use this line a lot (substitute 'LJ' for whatever word you like) but it reminds me of a friend who isn't a friend anymore. Still, funny memories.

My handwriting alternates between cursive and normal, too - especially my Zs. I don't really see my handwriting as cursive, though, it's just messy print that flows together (sometimes). And it can totally be as neat or messy as I like. :P

Your capital A reminds me of the Starfleet symbol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starfleet)! Also, I like that border you did at the bottom - it's like those weird S things I used to do when I was younger (as a matter of fact, there's a Facebook group for it *facepalm*).
