kylezyNothing much has been happening. I'm officially going to be maid of honour at Laura's wedding, so I'm going on a diet. I'm sure that'll go well.
Sleeping Lessons
I like the new Shins album but it doesn't sound entirely like them. I certainly prefer their previous albums, but this one has a couple goodies.
Miss Misery - Elliott Smith
I really wanted to post a song called ‘Song Against Sex’ by Neutral Milk Hotel because it is brilliant and catchy and has awesome lyrics but it’s in m4a format and the people on my flist that usually take my songs don’t have iTunes, damn you all.
Heroes was so bloody good this week but alas, it’s going on hiatus for a few weeks, as has The Office. Why have you forsaken me, oh mighty TV God? Ha, I watched the Ben Franklin episode of The Office a few hours ago because it was the only one I hadn’t seen and I just about died from Phyllis’ expression when Michael tells Ben Franklin he can spank her if she gets out of control. And OH JIM, I love how you looked away from the stripper when she took her clothes off.
Jim: Have you ever seen a stripper before?
Dwight: Yes. Jennifer Garner portrayed one on Alias. It was one of her many aliases.
Jim: Yeah. Me neither.
I caught up with on old friend today, Lea. She moved to Lord Howe Island a couple of years ago and I hadn’t seen her since the day before she left. It was great to catch up AND she’s convinced me to message Brad (see previous post). She wants to catch up with him too so at least it won’t just be me and him alone. I messaged him just a few minutes ago. No reply yet but then it’s almost 2am, I wasn’t really expecting one.
I really have to go to bed, I've got to work tomorrow. Housesitting this weekend again!
