Ridiculously awesome episode, especially for a Arthur/Merlin shipper. Anthony Head was so good, as were the scenes between him and Arthur. OH! ARTHUR STANDING UP TO HIM ABOUT THAT TAX! Yay for testicles! Sarah Parish is still awesome. Erm, what else did I like? OH OH OH. The A/M scenes were all good (that hug scene will be so hard to top, writers!) but MY FAVOURITE PART? Merlin tasting the troll potion. Or, the fake one actually. He goes to stick his finger in and then pulls it away and kind of stamps his foot then makes the most pathetic sounding 'tch'. You know he is one second away from letting out an honest to god whinge and OMG MERLIN I LOVE YOU, YOU BIG FUCKING GIRL.

Merlin sure handles the back of Arthur's head nicely. HE MUST HAVE HAD SOME PRACTICE. And look at the way he strokes Arthur's face on the way past, d'awwwww. The RPS'er in me wants to claim Colin Morgan shenanigans, but I shall refrain!

I didn't notice that! *stares* I think the amazingness of this part lies in Colin Morgan's hands and Bradley James' hair. When put together they just - FWOOM. Magic.

Yep, the gay was definitely making a comeback in this episode. Every single scene in which Arthur and Merlin interacted was just brimming with it. ("Were you under my bed the whole time?" or whatever it is Arthur asks him. Don't worry, Arthur, Merlin doesn't know about your dirty dreams about him.)

It is ALL down to the hands and hair, most definitely! Actually, the way Colin handles Bradley's head kind of reminded me of the way you hold a newborn's head. My ovaries quivered slightly, despite my lack of interest in offspring!

Arthur was suspiciously concerned about Merlin under the bed, wasn't he? DIRTY DREAMS indeed!
