THIS IS ME ABSOLUTELY COMBUSTING WITH JEALOUSY. (I have movies I want to see like The Avengers and the next Batman movie, I'm excited, don't get me wrong, then I have movies I need to see to keep on living, like Parked or Archipelago. Unfortunately, all of the movies in the latter category appear to exist everywhere but where I exist which is, as you might imagine, a little frustrating, as this lack of them is causing me to fade from existence. Oh well.)

Without spoilers: is it amazing? Will it be worth whatever waiting I have to do to see it?

It wasn't AMAZING amazing; it's clearly your typical meaningful indie flick and I thought the writing was lacking in some parts. BUT the friendship and the humour completely took me by surprise in the best possible way, it was so genuine. Like FOR REALS heartwarming. I went in thinking I'd probably just zoom to the Colin bits but I grew really attached to the lead character, Fred. Everyone's acting was stellar and in the case of Colin, you definitely don't see shades of Colin or Merlin in him, he's all Cathal.

I just read a review that was calling his performance one-dimensional and disappointing and I was like: What? did you actually see the film, you douche?
'cause Colin did his research well and put it all into his performance.
