Thing One! Birdie finally has a name. It was a close and headache-inducing process but I finally decided on Monte. It's Monty, but pretentious.

Thing Two! ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT IS BACK FOR ANOTHER SEASON AND MOVIE. MOTHER. FUCKING. YES.

Thing Three! Colin Morgan will be in my country in November.

Um. United Kingdom? Can we keep him? Pleeeease? We promise to take good care of him! We'll feed him and take him for walks EVERY DAY.

Thing Four! I don't think I'll go (although amazonbard88 is threatening to badger me until I do) because it's not really my thing, but he will be an hour away from me. AN HOUR.

Thing Five! I don't have a thing five, but if I did, it would be amazing, trust me.

OMG, Monte is beautiful! It is so hard to decide on a name for a new pet. I recently adopted a cat and choosing one was an agonizing process. I finally just had to pick one on my shortlist and stick with it, otherwise I would have waffled around for who-knows-how-long and confused the poor cat.

Haha, late reply, sorry! I haven't been able to get on LJ for days...so frustrating!

Anyway, I did want to answer your question though! My cat's name is Killick, after one of my favorite characters from the Patrick O'Brian series of Aubrey/Maturin novels. It fits him very well, because he's a wee bit of a whiner, rather like Killick is, and another name for the character is 'Preserved Killick' as he recovered from what should have been a fatal accident (with the help of Dr. Maturin). And we 'preserved' Killick by adopting him :)
