If the word limit had been 20k and I had been feeling particularly insane, I might have given it a whirl, but for 30k, I know there's no point, it just wouldn't happen. STILL, I am doing my bit, cheerleading for the Divine Miss Jenn, lemniciate, which has all been rather exciting - it's like having a backstage pass for your favourite band.

3.30am, I should probably head to bed. MAYBE. But it's so hotttt. Oh, that's right. Four t's. It's that bad.

Every year this fest takes part where people sign up to write a long Merlin fic, usually over 20k (this year is 30,000 words). They've got six months or something to do it and then it's put up for everyone to read. There's been some epic fics in the past, some of my favourites.

You know, I went into last years not that confident and I finished 51K. If I can do it, I'm pretty sure anyone can and I'm so excited to get started. I have no idea what I'm going to write but we have MORE time this year, so I'm not worried.

I started reading IT because it's one of the stories that's got small Dark Tower bits..even though when I saw the movie I didn't sleep for a month..and I couldn't even shower properly cause you know how he was in the sewers and shit (literally..lol) and he could like, see you through your drains. fuck dude, worst month of my life. anyway, I was reading it yesterday at midnight like a dumb dick, and I only read maybe 10 pages..but I got all freaked out and I was just like, fuck this man, and I went to bed..but that was worse. ;_; and the lights were off ;_; and I thought he was gonna come out from under my bed dude, I seriously thought that..it's so stupid because I'm practically ancient, but I couldn't help it..;_; I WAS SO SCARED. ;_;
