So...apparently Steve Irwin is dead. The news is reporting he was stung in the chest by a sting ray off of Port Douglas. It's odd. Steve was just one of those people you always expected to be around forever. Of all the jokes I made about him and all the things I've disagreed with about how he handles animals and even his own children, his heart was in the right place. He deeply cared about conservation, something I stongly support, and he did a lot to educate the masses about animals and how important they are for the survival of the planet. He loved what he did and I admired him in that respect. I feel guilty for making fun of him.

I hope everyone is well, I've been housesititng and working my arse off, I haven't even had time to check my emails.

Oh God Kylie - I didn't know that! How sad, and want a strange way for him to go after all the other risks he's taken. I feel so bad for his wife and child/children. Thanks for sharing that with us.

OMG That's soo bad. :'( I really really liked Steve Irwin and Crocodile Hunter and all was always so exciting to watch. He was always so full of energy and enthusiasm. Thats really sad, I almost feel like crying. Poor Steve, this shouldn't have happened to him. To think, we'll never hear him say 'Crikey!' now. :(

I'm still finding it hard to believe. :(
