Yeah, they seem to have stopped trying. I mean, I can understand that, but it's disappointing, it was the only place (at least on my comm list) where you could go for discussion. I love it when my friends have discussions in their journals and all but sometimes you want to see more people's opinions and maybe make some new friends.
