You talk way too much

I've got nothing in particular to post today so I'm just going to contribute some random things.
The Lighthouse - Interpol This is the most gorgeous song on the new Interpol album. Admittedly, I was disappointed in the new record, but this year has been a big year for diappointing albums (I'm looking at you Clap Your Hands Say Yeah,The Shins and Arctic Monkeys).
Awake - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club I've tried, but I just can't get into this band. A couple songs are alright and I like this one a lot, but they're never going to be my favourite band.
You Only Live Once - the Strokes Don't know why but suddenly I'm into this band again even though we haven't heard from them in a year.
Why Won't You Give Me Your Love - the Zutons Any band that can incorporate handclaps into a song about stalking and kidnapping is a-ok with me!
Coconut Cheesecake
a. Mix together 1 and a half cups of crushed chocolate biscuits, half a cup of toasted coconut flakes (shredded coconut) (toast the flakes by putting them into a fryingpan, you'll want them only slightly brown) and 90g of melted/soft butter. Press flat into base of cake tin.
b. Beat together 500g of softened Philadelphia cream cheese (do you guys have Philadelphia cream cheese overseas?) and 395g of sweetened condensed milk, until the mixture is smooth.
c. Mix together half a cup of coconut milk powder, two tablespoons of warm water and one teaspoon of vanilla essence. Alternatively, if you can't get the coconut milk powder (like I couldn't today) you can use one teaspoon of coconut essence. If you do, only use one tablespoon of warm water instead of two. Once these are mixed, add it to the cream cheese mix.
d. Beat 300ml of cream into the cream cheese mixture.
e. Dissolve one tablespoon of gelatin into one quarter of a cup of boiling water. It must be boiling water. Allow this to cool until it is lukewarm then add it to the cream cheese mixture and beat. Don't put it in hot or the cream will curdle. Don't let the geltin get cool either or it will set. It's probably best to do the gelatin first as it takes a little while to cool. By the time you've done all of the above, it should be cool enough to add.
f. Tip the mixture onto the biscuit base, sprinkle coconut flakes over the top and refrigerate preferably overnight, it takes quite a while to set.
