I smoked from 99 to 09, so 10 years. I was sort of like you though, I never used to smoke at home because I lived with my grandfather and he's very anti-smoking, so I suppose that helped me in the quitting process.
That's what stalled me the first few times I tried to quit; the fact that I didn't want to because I enjoyed it. But then there seemed to be a rush of smoking-related diseases that hit my family and their friends and I'm like, well, fuck that. Lung cancer is supposed to be a horrific way to die. GUILT GUILT GUILT :P
