All this rain must be messing with my brain because I'm actually considering writing for the It Happened One Night prompt over at reel_merlin. WHAT AM I DOING? I can't write! I never finish things! This is a really bad idea!

And yet I am watching the movie and taking notes right now.

You can write your favourite films with the Merlin cast in! So you could write a story about Gaius being a crazy old scientist, who extracts DNA from mosquitoes trapped in amber fossils and combines it with frog DNA to make dinosaurs in a crazy big park on Costa Rica. He, naturally, wants some expert opinions before he opens the park to the public, so he enlists the help of paleontologists Arthur and Merlin, along with a ragtag bunch of other characters. Wackiness ensues and you have the awesome plot of Jurassic Park coupled with the awesome characters of Merlin.

It boggles the mind, it really does. Maybe because there's so many characters? I seem to recall one or two really good short versions of the story that were released in December on merlinxarthur, though they had nothing to do with reel_merlin.

There are so many stories I want to see Merlin and Arthur in. It Happened One Night, Addicted To Love, Zach and Miri Make A Porno (if only because I think the scene in which they decide to fuck for the camera could be really hot), The Breakfast Club, Calamity Jane, SECRETARY, OMG I THINK WE WOULD BOTH DIE IF SOMEONE WROTE THAT, IT'S V.V. KINKY, Speed, When Harry Met Sally. People need to get on these!

BECAUSE I think he is beautiful in a way that is a little supernatural and only gets more so the more you look. And I think we'd get along really well. And I think he'd be a firecracker in the sack.
