She was 14. My family used to be into greyhound racing and she was the last dog we ever owned and raced. She won a few things but wasn't particularly great, so we retired her and brought her home, where she had a comfortable life napping, eating and napping some more.

Greyhounds are one of the most warm, relaxed, easy-going dogs you could ever hope to own. If you're in the market for a new pet, I highly recommend checking out the ex-racing dogs at an adoption agency.
