We're only halfway through May, Mother Nature, you're early with the whole Winter thing, goddammit! I mean, I love the season, but this is redonkulous, it had been cold all day, every day for the last two weeks. I live in a subtropical climate, it's not supposed to be like this!

[livejournal.com profile] openmoments and I started a fic community for ourselves, [livejournal.com profile] ficfully_yours, with the intention to give each other a prompt every week and to write no less than one hundred words by the end of that same week. Can't say I'll be doing anything longer than the required one hundred, but maybe after I get into the swing of things I'll find writing will become a bit easier like it used to be. When I was rp'ing, I was spewing fic out of every orifice (enjoy that mental image) and I can only assume it was because I was writing so frequently. I guess I'm hoping to achieve something similar. My first prompt is 'taste' and my mind drifted immediately to porn (as it usually does) but I'll see what I can come up with.

So, erm, I thought I had more to say. TURNS OUT I DON'T, HOW ABOUT THAT. Oh, you want to hear an embarrassing story? This one time when Mum was driving me home from school, two guys in a white hatchback started to drive even with us, and the driver started yelling out his window. Now, I'm used to people shouting at us because my Mum is the slowest driver in the history of the world, so I lean across, shout out a few choice words and give the driver the finger. I normally wouldn't bother, but apparently I was pissed off that day. Anyhoo, he kind of looked shocked and I got 3.2 seconds to bask in my awesomness before Mum smacked me on the shoulder and told me that he was just asking which way to turn to get to the beach. And that's my story.
