Day 16 → a song that makes you cry (or nearly)
Adagio For Strings
I want this song at my funeral. So people will bawl.
Casimir Pulaski Day - Sufjan Stevens
The song starts with a mention of cancer of the bone, how are you not going to cry? I like that this song is obviously so personal to Stevens and contains references that we the audience aren't supposed to get, we're just supposed to understand his pain.
Isengard Unleashed
From The Two Towers soundtrack. Because I always cry in this part of the film, when the Ents march off to their probable doom against Saruman. The boy's (I assume it's a kid, I can't see a man singing that high after puberty) voice in this song is so haunting and beautiful, I get shivers every damn time. And then I cry with happiness that the forest Saruman sought to destroy is finally afflicting revenge against industry.
