After years of saying I'd never get a paid account, I maybe sorta got a paid account. 35 userpics baby! Thanks to
openmoments for the holiday gift voucher thingy, I would have definitely been too stingey to pay $20.
I had an alright time away, it just felt too long. It was only a week but being up at 5am every day (because that's when the dog woke up and unless I wanted to clean her shit up off the floor, that's what time I had to get up) and then not going to bed until midnight (as I think it might be physically impossible for me to go to bed before 12, no matter how tired I am) made the days drag. I didn't think Sunday was ever going to come. Highlights/lowlights of the week include perfecting my bowling on the Wii, breaking apart fights between the dog and the cat, picking up a dead rat the cat brought me, watching college basketball because nothing else was on goddamn tv, making an awesome chow mein, puppy breath, having air conditioning in 30+ degrees celsius heat, going swimming in my pjs at 6am and teaching the dog to dive.

I arrived back home this arvo to an awkward and tense house because my grandparents are fighting. Again? As usual? IDK. I'm so fucking sick of it.
Five months without smoking, go me! It still boggles my mind how easy it was, considering I'd been smoking for 9 years.
Did I miss any exciting fandom stuff this past week?
iCarly: I didn't hate it, like a lot of people. It wasn't the most exciting episode though, nor the best written. I think it would have benefited by being an hour long instead of 30 minutes, for such an 'important episode', in terms of overall plot and character growth, everything felt rushed. Best moment of the episode was the Carly/Sam frisking, I'm not gonna lie xD
