*The Merlin art department is really fond of glitter this season.

*DOUBLE AWW at Arthur caring why Merlin is upset and trying to cheer him up. I am convinced he would have given him a noogie had they been alone.

*I'm getting secondhand embarrassment watching Gaius do magic :\ Is it just me or is RW overselling it?

*Overall: maybe it's because I'm not pausing this ep every few seconds to make a joke and therefore I'm a lot more invested in the storyline, but this ep isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I mean, I'd rather have more boys, obviously, but other than that, it's pretty much just your average Merlin episode.

I agree with you about RW overselling the magic. it's just too much. It reminds me of Gilderoy Lockhart and his flourishy way of saying spells, with extra care to pronounciation. nope, not doing it for me. RW should watch Colin more often.

It was a bit boring at points but it's not really worse than others!

Ooh, shiny icon! I was missing Gwaine too, so I made my own some hours ago :D

I would've skipped the ep altogether if Colin and Bradley's faces didn't make an appearance. As it was, Arthur was on for like, only five minutes? Boring episode is boring, so when my download was thwarted the first time I didn't make any effort to find another one so soon. The next episode: major DNW. Well, old Merlin could be fun and cracky, but still.
