Other stuff:
*Went op shopping on the weekend, turned out to be fruitless though, I only picked up a few cookbooks.
*Family gathering on Sunday went swimmingly, all my cooking turned out fine.
*rayslady's postcard finally came! Actually, funny story, we were chatting on AIM today and she asked me if it had arrived yet and just as I was replying no, my Nan walks in with the mail and hands it to me. Am now convinced Julia is hiding outside in the bushes, plotting to kill, dismember and/or rape me. YEAH, I'M ONTO YOUR GAME.
*Arcade Fire's new album - I've given it a few listens and I'm still not sure what to make of it. Has anybody else listened yet? What do you think? It's a lot more poppy than I've ever heard them play. I almost thought I'd got the wrong album when the first few chords of The Suburbs played. I don't know. I don't not like it, it's just not what I'm used to hearing.
*A Very Potter Sequel was fantastic and everything I wanted in a follow up, I love those guys so much. I can't say if I liked it better than AVPM, but Lucius Malfoy is my new favourite thing, I haven't lol'ed that hard in ages.
*Is anyone good at layouts? I want a new one, I hate the width in this one. Alternatively, does anyone know a good layout comm?
Day 11: What character would you say you are most like?
I guess I'm like Ron, who I also named as my favourite character, does that make me narcissistic? In any case I have some of his best and worst traits, I'm loyal, I defend my friends with vigour, we have a similar humour, I can be quite emotionally constipated, I'm jealous and resentful and have a major inferiority complex. YAY US!
Day 12: Favorite ship.
Ron/Hermione - the only het ship in my top five.
Day 13: Least favorite movie.
I have enormous trouble rewatching GOF and I've never been ably to completely put my finger on why, because some of the stuff I really liked (the three champions, everyone's '60s hair, Radcliffe's acting when he's getting crucio'ed and when he's sobbing over Cedric's body, etc). I guess it mostly boils down to the fact that the film itself was so fragmented and jumpy, it really just annoys me.
Day 14: Team Voldemort or Team Harry?
I will not dignify this with a response.
Day 15: Who would be your best friends at Hogwarts?
I could see myself hanging around Luna for the lulz.

I don't know, I said it without thinking! I'm a liar! But if I thought about it: Merlin/Arthur OF COURSE, Colin/Bradley (I actually want this more than Christmas, sadly), Remus/Sirius from HP and John/Paul from the Beatles. Is it weird that I think I prefer women sexually but I don't really ship any lesbian pairings? I mean, I could get behind Morgana/Gwen and Morgana/Morgause if they weren't sisters, but they're not OTP kind of ships like M/A is.

OH, I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO IT! I watched it last week, I think? Before, I thought all the slashy subtext had been greatly exaggerated by fans. It hadn't. Woah, they are gay. Wait, it just occurred to me, you're probably talking about the new show, not the film. I want to see the new show, I L-O-V-E Martin Freeman but I'm low on bandwidth again, le grr. I will get round to it because everyone on my flist is raving about it. I fear for my Merlin bbs actually, they might be overtaken by Holmes/Watson OTP talk and that would make me sad because no one is as gay as M/A, surely :(
