Under the Southern Cross we stand...
WE WON! Australia won the Cricket World Cup!
I was determined not to post in LJ until the World Cup was over, because I'm oddly superstitious like that. I sat in the same chair for every match too. Pity that the game was a bit controversial with that bit at the end but it still was a good game. The best team really did win, even though Sri Lanka was definitely the team that could beat us. We won our match against them in the Super Eights but they rested their three best bowlers so I was a bit unsure about how we'd go today. Turns out I needn't have worried.
