In which Kloves better not screw up the last two

Day 2: Your favorite movie.

Despite its many flaws (crappy werewolves, HE WAS THEIR FRIEND WAH, Hermione getting Ron's lines, Marauders rather unexplained, etc) Prisoner of Azkaban was a stylised, good-looking film and made for a smart change from the, I don't know, meekness I felt from the previous two. Here you felt like you were watching a proper film, rather than just a book adaptation.

Day 3: Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book?

I've never been a particularly worried about the stuff they leave out. I understand things have to disappear for a story to appeal to everyone and not just Potter nerds. The only thing that has consistently annoyed me is the screenwriting and the dependence Kloves seems to suffer from in his writing by giving Hermione Ron's lines. Yeah, maybe scared!Ron is funny and sure, I understand why they do it, but that's no reason to take away those redeeming lines of his, like when he stands up on a broken leg to exclaim to who he thinks at the time is a mass murderer:

"If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us, too." [POA, pg. 249 UK]

Instead, we got Hermione throwing herself in front of Harry like the brave, dashing woman she HASN'T YET BECOME.

Actually, characterisation seems to be a big problem for him. I never felt Snape was as huge a foe for Harry in the films as he's clearly made to be in the books. And Dumbledore had those occasional anger issues in GOF (to be fair, five, written by Michael Goldenberg, had a moment or two of angry Dumbledore as well), which is a shame because I thought his characterisation was near perfect in POA.

Day 4: Least favorite female character and why.

I'm torn here because by definition, Umbridge was my least favourite character in that she was a horrid, vile woman. But on the other hand, that's just because she was so brilliantly written that it sort of makes her one of my favourites if you look at it that way.

I guess Ginny interested me the least?

Day 17: Are you excited about The Deathly Hallows movie or scared it won’t do the book justice?
Day 18: Least favorite book?
Day 19: Do you prefer the books or films?
Day 20: If you had to meet one member of the cast, who would it be?
Day 21: Out of all the characters that died, if you could bring one back, who would it be?
Day 22: Harry Potter or Twilight?
Day 23: Any part of the books/movies that makes you cry?
Day 24: Any particular scene you wished would have been put in the movie but it wasn’t?
Day 25: Nineteen years later. Are you happy how it turned out, or do you wish something was different, ie Neville married Luna?
Day 26: If you could be able to work one spell without a wand what would it be?
Day 27: Would you rather own The Invisibility Cloak, The Resurrection Stone or The Elder Wand?
Day 28: Do you listen to Wizard Wrock, what do you think about it?

This is yesterday's news but I haven't posted about Merlin in what feels like forever, so,

Via here.

I want to kidnap them and force them to perform slashy Merlin scenes forever meet them and be completely uncreepy in any way.
